The client was B.P. Foods, which is a renowned manufacturer, supplier and distributor of wheat products in Gwalior region.

Netoip - an internet service provider from Italy has decided to participate in the beta testing program of LigoPTP RapidFire wireless bachaul device and and set up a 6.5 km (4 mi) link with external dual-pol directional dish antennas. The link is used for the backhaul of a network that connects multiple base stations serving residential and business customers to provide data, VoIP, and video surveillance services.

A leading WISP in Hungary ZNET ran a 20 km (12.4 mi) performance test with LigoPTP RapidFire 5 – N with dual – pol directional dish antennas. Professional installation and a relatively noisy channel allowed achieving the maximum 511 Mbps UDP throughput on 80 MHz channel.

One of the first companies to test the LigoPTP RapidFire performance was SteirerLAN from the city of Strass in Austria located close to the border of Slovenia. A local WISP providing Internet connectivity for local and corporate customers has received 23 dBi integrated antenna devices and set up a 10.6 km (6.6 mi) link. Professional installation and noise-free channel allowed achieving very good signal levels (-57/-60) and a solid 450 Mbps UDP throughput on 80 MHz channel.

PacificNet - LigoWave’s distributor in Mexico has installed a beta test link with the civil association of agricultural producers (AUPA EL GRANDE A.C.), who are responsible for modernization of the local farms. The purpose of the link was to provide Internet service connectivity that was not available on the farms before.
