LigoWave brings seamless 5 GHz point-to-point connectivity with the release of the LigoPTP 5-23 integrated radio. This product features a powerful, 27 dBm RF engine coupled with an integrated 23 dBi panel antenna, enabling carrier-class point-to-point operation in the 5 GHz spectrum.

The LigoPTP 5-23 showcases an array of advanced software mechanisms that provide optimal point-to-point connectivity for high-throughput, long distance links. LigoWave's proprietary point-to-point mechanism utilizes techniques such as Selective Repeat ARQ and Dynamic Time Division Duplexing (TDD) to increase link efficiency and greatly decrease the impact that distance has on throughput of the link. The software ingenuity delivered on the LigoPTP 5-23 enables actual TCP throughput of up to 70 Mbps and 50,000 packets-per-second, delivering a solution made for rock solid backhaul capability for both VOIP and data applications. The LigoPTP 5-23 is also compatible with WNMS, a centralized configuration, firmware, and statistics server offered by LigoWave for carrier class diagnostic and configuration management capabilities.

OLED screen is installed in all the LigoPTP series radios. Using external OLED screen users can easily align the link, perform a link test with different packet sizes just after the deployment, find out various statistics about the link (wireless, ethernet, device status etc.), reset to defaults or reboot the device and even lock the equipment to avoid unvelcome impact.
