Features
- Resets to defaults all LigoWave products;
- Displays general device information: IP address, MAC address, firmware version;
- Performs reset by one click (requires power-cycle of the device);
- Has an option to add the device manually (in case if the IP address of the device is unknown, or other issues)
- Works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS
How to Execute Reset Tool

The Java package must be installed on operating system for Reset Tool. |

In order to reset the firmware version prior 5.77/6.77, the Reset Tool must be run with administrative privileges. |
Linux OS
The following package should be installed by running
"sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre"
command (ubuntu/debian version). After that click right mouse button on Reset Tool and select run "Open with Sun Java 6 Runtime"
Windows 7 OS
The shortcut with the following data must be created on Windows 7 OS:

"C:/Program Files/Java/jre6/bin/java.exe" -jar "C:/users/John/Desktop/reset-tool.noname.EN.v1.0.jar"
After the shortcut has been created it must be executed with administrative privileges by clicking with the right mouse button and selected option "Run as Administrator".
Reset Tool Usage

The device must be on a local subnet with the computer which runs Reset Tool. |

Reset to defaults can be performed through the device's Ethernet interface only (not wireless). |
Follow the procedure below in order to reset device to defaults:
Step 1. Connect the computer to the device through LAN cable or through switch and run the Reset Tool.
Step 2. Press Scan button for the device auto discovery.
Step 3. Select the appropriate device and press Reset button:
Step 4. Turn-off and turn-on the device and wait until the reset to defaults is complete.
