Enterprise wireless networks

Some enterprises (especially IT) want to have their own independent network infrastructure for secure communication without additional monthly costs. With wireless PTP technologies this need can be easily realized. For private connectivity we suggest unlicensed band devices like LigoPTP 5-23 MiMo, LigoPTP 5-23 or LigoPTP 2-19.

Building-to-building connectivity

Building-to-building wireless connectivity can be effectively used in areas under the same administrative policy like campus, hospital buildings, school and etc. Recommended LigoPTP devices are from the unlicensed band series: LigoPTP 5-23 MiMo, LigoPTP 5-23, LigoPTP 2-19.

LAN extensions

In metropolitan areas, small internet service providers often connect LAN networks from near buildings together to bigger MAN network. If the building can’t be connected with cable, usually it can be connected with wireless. LigoWave recommends LigoPTP 5-23 MiMo or LigoPTP 5-N MiMo.

Leased line (E1/T1) replacement

Because E1/T1 leased lines are expensive, there is a demand for alternate, more cost effective solutions. One of them can be wireless PTP usage. LigoPTP effectively relays large volumes of small packets making it ideal for carrying E1/T1 traffic. In this scenario additional converters (can be provided from LigoWave) from E1/T1 to Ethernet are required.
